Grants Management Assistant

Description:Provides administrative support in data entry and assists in all aspects of grant management. Responsible for ensuring that grant files are complete and in compliance with programmatic and fund management requirements of funding source; compiles documents as needed to complete required reports and grant applications.
Duties:• Assists with developing and implementing grant related policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure program compliance.
• Develops reporting systems to assure Gateway’s ability to meet grant reporting requirements.
• Provides technical assistance to program Directors/Managers in the preparation of reports.
• Composes and types letters, memos, notices, lists, and other materials; composes and edits on screen, and prepares final copy of reports and correspondences.
• Assists director in writing and preparing grant applications, letters, memoranda, status reports, and other communications.
• Assist director to organize and conduct Center and staff training as required by administration.
• Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in public administration, finance, accounting, and/or related field from an accredited college or university.
• One year of work experience in grant or program management preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Texas Driver License and proof of vehicle insurance.
