|Description:||Primary activities encompass of minor acute illness and chronic health conditions for all life cycles, health promotion, health maintenance, disease prevention. All activities must comply with established protocols, policies/procedures developed in collaboration with the Center’s Medical Director and/or designee. Collaborates in activities to achieve organizational goals and Center’s objectives.|
|Qualifications:||•Currently licensed by the Board of Nurse Examiner for the State of Texas.|
•Must be a licenses APN by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.
•Two or more years of practice as a registered nurse giving direct patient care before APN certification.
•Graduate of a nationally approved Nurse Practitioner Program.
•Must be currently certified by either the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
•DPS/DEA licensed preferred but not required.
•Texas Driver’s license, reliable means of transportation and maintain automobile liability coverage.
•Current CPR course completion card - level C.
