|Description:||Gateway Community Health Center is seeking a full-time Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to provide high quality, comprehensive inpatient and outpatient primary and preventative medical care services, including deliveries as well as pre- and post-natal care, for women in a warm and friendly community health setting. Must be able to treat patients from a diversity of social and ethnic backgrounds and to work creatively as a member of a health oriented team composed of health professions from a variety of disciplines for the healing and betterment of the center's patients. |
|Qualifications:||Graduation from an accredited medical school, completion of approved post-graduate training, and a current unrestricted Texas medical license. |
2-3 years post-residency practice experience preferred, but will also consider new grads.
Board Certified/Board Eligible in OBGYN.
Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registrations (for the purpose of writing prescriptions).
Must be able to make arrangements for hospitalization of patients and/or follow for deliveries/surgeries as needed.
Fluent in Spanish preferred.
